2009 - The year of the Jumpsuit?
9:16 pmThe jumpsuit is one of the biggest trends this Spring. During the fashion shows, the jumpsuit kept cropping up on the runways in all different shapes and colours. Whether they were short, long, lean, printed, sporty or sexy there is bound to be one out there which will suit you.
They first made their come back last year, but didn't really take off. This year on the other hand, they are going to be big. With the amount of different styles, there is no reason why they won't succeed.
My favourite are the short ones. I think they are ideal for summer and look real cute too. They would look great worn with flats or heels and would do a good job of keeping you cool throughout those warm days.

Above I picked out some of my favourite for several different occasions from some High Street shops (minus the middle one, obviously). I love how the playsuit is so versatile and can be dressed up or down depending on where you are going. Here is what I thought would suit best:
Beach: The lightweight, floral print jumpsuit with a halterneck fastening. Perfect to wear over a bikini.
Lazy sunday: The denim one with a pleated front. Perfect casual look, teamed up with some knee high socks and pumps.
Work: The grey jumpsuit with the open collar and button front, worn with some glamorous purple heels and accesories - perfect.
Going out: Bottom left. I love this jumpsuit with the leopard print and sheen finish - would look awesome with some killer black heels.
A restaurant meal: The lovely purple one. Team up with some black tights and a contrasting waistbelt, I think it would work really well.
The black one? Absolutely anything!
