Paris Fashion Week
7:21 pm
I'm ahead of myself! I'm fully aware Summer is around the corner and that I should be looking at perhaps the Spring/Summer collection, but I couldn't resist sharing some of my favourite outfits from the Autumn/Winter season for later on this year - a girl's gotta prep!
I've put together four catagories consisting of: Blues, Nudes, Brights and Monochrome- all of which featured quite a lot through the pictures I found of the Fashion Week. I generally got a 'dark' feel from the season, but I guess it's for Winter so I wouldn't exactly be all pinks and yellows!

First up is the Nudes. The Nudes were one of the most popular colours that kept cropping up on the runway, these will be following on from the Nudes which we will be seeing in Summer collections too. I like the Nudes, maybe wouldn't wear them myself but they are quite a different style and look fantastic with contrasting seperates.
Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Emanuel Ungaro, Giambattista Valli, Balmain
Next up - Blues. Although blue is not one of my favourite colours to wear, it is all over the runways in different shades and materials. I have selected a collection of different styles Blue has been used. My favourite from the above is the centre photograph.
The Blue looks amazing with the grey and even though it is an Autumn/Winter collection, living in England you can get away with it all year round!

My favourites are the Bright colours! I wear quite an array of colours myself, and really enjoy seeing how the designers put together such bold and eccentric colours. I have found that the Autumn/Winter '09 collections do not have many bright colours this year, so it was difficult enough to scrape together just 5 pictures! My favourite from the above is the pink tights and blue shorts outfit.
I love the different ways the colours have been contrasted and can even see myself wearing something similar...

Finally, Monochromes. These always make an appearance and although I personally don't like to wear duller shades, I find myself really enjoying the new Monochrome looks.
Ah, now that's done I can take a look at the Spring/Summer 2009 collections next and be a little more relevant!
