Gladiator Jellies?!
9:06 pmI admit, when these first came about I was not mad on them. It has been quite a while now since then and I can't get enough of them. It's funny isn't it? How when you first see something to hate it, but then with time you grow to like it. How does that happen? I experience it alot, not just with fashion but with music and art aswell.
The thing I like the most about these sandals are the different varieties you can get. They are available in just about any height you could possibly require and feature as many straps as you could ever want, then there is the jewels or studs, tan or white, thick or thin straps, I could go on...
So, this afternoon I was doing my regular Topshop browse and having a look at what sandals they had instore for this summer when I came across this monstrosity:
I couldn't believe my eyes. Gladiator Jellies!! Gladiator and Jellies should not be mentioned in the same sentence let alone the same name! Jellies are what the kids where to the beach, they are not to be attempted to be turned into one of the most fashionable types of sandal going!
I was utterly disappointed, the gladiator sandal has been destroyed. I hope these terrible jelly gladiators will never take off!
