Matthew Williamson for H+M

I may aswell get straight to the point... I hadn't heard of Matthew Williamson before he had agreed to design a collection for H&M. However, I am so pleased I have now! The reason I was speared on to do this post is because his range is due to hit the H&M shelves tomorrow and I doubt any of the clothing will be sticking around for long!
So to educate myself about this designer and to familiarise myself with some of his work, I decided to hit onto Vogue.com. Here are some of his outfits from his Spring/Summer '09 collection which were showed at the New York fashion week. Aren't the colours beautiful?

This is a small collection of some of the pieces we can look forward to appearing on the shelves of H&M, and I can't wait! I have really grown to love his style, I like the bold colours and adore the silk like material (or even real silk for that matter!) for that gorgeous shiny finish.

Another soft spot for me are the striking patterns he uses regulary in his work. I love attention to detail and busy prints with loads of colour, they are perfect for the summer time and just make me smile looking at them.

Many of his designs have been worn down the red carpet by people such as Sienna Miller, Kiera Knightly, Mischa Barton and even Kylie Minogue.

I am offically a fan.
